Anne Shankar, MSW. LCSW.
Anne is a licensed clinical social worker and has been practicing for thirty years. With her husband Vijay, she co-founded the LifeQual Center. Her practice focuses on treating individual adults and couples suffering from anxiety and depression, as well as relationship issues, job stress and other life transitions. Her specialties include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), with a background in Systems and Multigenerational Family Therapy. Anne works with clients to help them move forward and participate in their lives in ways that are meaningful to them, such as connecting with others, engaging in things they love, and living with a mindful presence. She received a Masters in Social Psychology (M.Sc.) from London School of Economics and a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University in New York. She has been a member of the anxiety Disorders Clinic since 2000. Anne also has an office in NW Portland.
